CityScape Window Adds Interest [Project 28]

I love all the gorgeous colours that make up the buildings in the CityScape window.

As I mentioned in CityScape Starts From Scraps, I had to quickly put a window together after Mollie poked a hole through the plastic.  I used long & thin pieces of glass leftover from various projects to represent the buildings & various clears for the sky.

The side panels, with only 6 & 8 pieces, were completed in about ½ day each.  I finished the middle panel over the course of the next 3 days & the whole window was ready to install — much to Mollie’s chagrin.

This time I used Jacquards Pearl Ex Pigment in Yellow-Green to colour the putty a beautiful lime-green.

Beside two fairly plain windows, I love how the bright colours & lead came add visual interest to the far end of the porch.

CityScape window adds visual interest to the plainer end of the porch.

Windows now cover both ends of the porch — closing the gap on the plastic.

Now I can get back to quickly getting the Squared Rainbow window made & installed.

This simple panel is one of eight that make up the Squared Rainbow window.
