Spring has come to the Isle & that means garden-time. And that means time to create a planter.
All the materials for this one are recycled or leftover from other projects. The base is four shelves that ended up out in the shed — the wood is solid, just a bit grungy on the outside. I’ll probably paint it in the summer. The windows are the two end sections from my Rainbow Window Project.
Last year, one of the inside sections, with the darker coloured glass, was installed sideways in the Tiny Office Project & since then, the other sections have been forlornly lounging around the yard.
Originally I created the window with the double row of glass squares at the top but looking at the photo of the proposed planter, I’m thinking I might switch it around. Hmmm, we’ll see … tomorrow in the light.
