First panel in ‘Green Trees’ window set reflects nature outside.
I’ve finished the left stationary window in the new set of porch windows — another stationary one will go on the right, with two sliding windows going in the middle.
The full set will consist of two stationary & two sliding windows.
A tree trunk with two branches is represented by three clear textures — spots of grass with the green opaque glass. The rest has been left clear glass to allow for viewing dogs in the yard.
I love the glass tree merging with the real trees.
Sitting beside the more colourful mosaic windows that open on hinges, this set owns its elegance simply & won’t clash with its busier neighbour.
The sliding set allows the hinged set to open wide.
A fine addition to the porch:

That is really clever Vanessa – I have always wanted to try this but I know it is not my gift – very spectactular especially with the trees outside coming through.
